NBP Islamic Mahana Amdani Fund (“NIMAF” or “the Fund”) is a medium risk profile fund. The objective of the Fund is to provide monthly income to investors by investing in Shariah-compliant money market and debt avenues. As of Dec’25, the Fund’s AUM stood at ~PKR 11,736mln, up from PKR 10,711mln at the time of Jun’25, reflecting growth in fund size during the period while maintaining the Fund’s investment strategy. In terms of asset allocation, the Fund maintained ~50.80% in Cash holdings, followed by ~21.60% in placements against Bai Muajjal, ~16.70% in GoP Ijarah Sukuk, and ~9.00% in Sukuk, with the remaining portion allocated to other instruments including receivables. The allocation reflects a balanced mix of liquidity and income-generating Shariah-compliant instruments. From a credit quality perspective, ~33.80% of the portfolio was invested in A+ rated avenues, ~26.70% in AAA rated instruments, ~16.70% in Government Securities, and ~13.00% in AA- rated avenues, with the remaining portion allocated to other categories. This composition indicates moderate credit risk exposure with diversification across rating tiers. At end-Dec’25, the Fund’s duration stood at 37 days, indicating low sensitivity to interest rate movements. Meanwhile, the WAM was recorded at 163 days, reflecting a balanced maturity profile. The unit holding pattern remained relatively diversified, with approximately 16.55% of units held by the top 10 investors. In terms of performance, the Fund reported a 12-month trailing return of 9.70% as of Dec’25, which remained below the benchmark return of 10.10%, indicating underperformance relative to its benchmark.
